Private Sessions
Private in-home training can be the best option for your dog for a variety of reasons. Many dogs experience optimal learning in a familiar setting with low distractions. Maybe you have a new puppy and would like to begin basic manners or Puppy Head Start at home so that group classes are more likely to be successful. Perhaps your dog is exhibiting behaviors that are specific to the home environment and are best dealt with in that context. If you feel this may be a good fit for you, schedule a free courtesy call and we can discuss your situation in greater detail.
Canine Enrichment
Every dog can benefit from an enrichment protocol. As Dognostics Certified Canine Enrichment Technicians, we offer custom enrichment programs built specifically to fulfill the needs of your dog.
Assistance Dog Training
Whether you are starting your journey with a new puppy, or with an adult dog with prior training in basic obedience, we can help. Perhaps you need to hone the skills of your current assistance dog, or are interested in helping your dog become a therapy dog. Contact us. We perform temperament and skill level assessments to guide you and your dog in the appropriate direction.
Cooperative Care Training
Help your dog prepare for grooming, veterinarian visits, and other practical hands-on procedures and maintenance using choice-based, positive reinforcement methods.
Aggression Assistance
Experienced in dog-to-dog and dog-to-human aggression. We also take on resource guarding cases. Pricing may differ in these situations depending on the severity and complexity of the case.

Your dog will love this mountain farm setting. Basic manners are highlighted along with satisfying your dog’s enrichment needs.

Your dog will be integrated into our natural homestead setting. We host a maximum of two guests at a time in order to give each dog the focus and attention they deserve. Custom training plans per client.

Enrichment services are a fun option for dogs that may be getting bored or restless during the day. Enrichment is personalized for each client and may include puzzles, walks, games, training, and more! Now offering consulting services for shelters and rescues
I have recently started offering consulting services to shelters and rescues in order to increase the welfare and emotional well being of dogs in their care. My program empowers institutions to implement a trauma-informed care approach to give dogs the support they need to be successful during and after their stay at the shelter.
I have over 15 years of professional experience in dog training and behavior and have multiple accreditations with a variety of well recognized and respected organizations. I specialize in mitigating aggressive behavior and have studied under some of the world’s foremost specialists in the field.
There is an upward trend nationwide in instances of dog aggression and reactivity with an increase in bites and behavioral euthanasias. Part of my mission is to work with both dog professionals and dog owners to expand their awareness of the current state of affairs and to teach hands-on skills that address real-life issues. Some of the subjects covered include: safe handling, how to break up a dog fight, emergency protocols, adopter information packet, debunking dominance theory, the importance of gut biomes in behavior, enrichment schedules, and a deeper understanding of canine body language. All of these things can be instrumental in preventing bites and other issues that may result in the surrender of a dog.
